Most of the art for The Memory Palace was created on a piece of 7 ½ by 5 ½ canvas on the author’s studio wall, using a combination of gouache, watercolor, graphite, gel medium and india ink. Additional art was made with gouache and pen and ink on Arches 400 lb cold press watercolor paper.
